Casa Sevilla 1855 Suites is located in Plaza Cristo de Burgos, in the Alfalfa neighborhood, belonging to the Old Town district of the city.
This square was a Jewish neighborhood in its beginnings and later it welcomed the Muslim population until its expulsion in 1502. It has received different names throughout history: Plaza de los Descalzos, Príncipe Don Alfonso, Plaza de Arguelles. In 1938 it was renamed Plaza de la Virgen del Pilar, an image venerated in the neighboring Church of San Pedro and it is in 1951 when it receives its current name, Plaza Cristo de Burgos, in honor of the image that is also worshiped in the same church.
The College of Architects and the Church of San Pedro, already mentioned above, are the most recognizable buildings, which also have numerous stately homes.
